How To Control Excessive Sweating Under The Arms
You may thing that having huge dark patches of sweat under your armpits is one of the worst things that can happen. These sweaty patches can cause much embarrassment if you notice them when you are out either in the night or during the day. Social situations can be a nightmare for someone who suffers from sweat patches. But stress about this situation can actually make the condition worse and so it is a never ending circle. But is there any treatment for sweaty armpits?
Sweating is a regular occurrence for everyone but for some it is much worse than for others. Sweating is not a problem at all for some people who hardly even notice it. But other people actually suffer quite a lot with sweating and it is extremely uncomfortable for them. The armpits are an area where sweat can become trapped and this can lead to a build up of bacteria because of the trapped moisture. This build up of bacteria is worse in someone with excessive sweating. And once bacteria builds up, you can expect there to be some sort of body odour.
But if you know how, you can try to help stop underarm sweating. If you heed some of the following advice you can try to reduce your underarm sweating. Invest in a good quality antiperspirant deodorant and use it every day after you have washed. It is vital that you thoroughly wash and dry the area before applying the deodorant. It is also a good idea to wear loose fitting clothes and choosing light coloured clothing is also recommended. It is well known that sweat patches are more noticeable in darker clothes. Plus if you do not want to encourage your body to sweat more you should stay away from materials such as silk which are artificially made.
Shaving regularly is also recommended as hair works to trap moisture. Keep an eye on your diet. There are certain foods such as curry, garlic, peppers and onions which can increase the amount of perspiration you have.
